Apple iPhone, iPad & Touch

STATUS: Solid Support screenshot

Summary: Apple continues to pave the way for more web-like email experiences by using the Webkit engine to power their email clients. In addition to strong support for CSS2 properties, Apple's clients also support a limited, but useful set of CSS3 properties, including Webkit-specific implementations.

We hope that Apple will inspire a much larger switch to Webkit amongst email client developers, or at least serve as a model for less-compliant email clients to aspire to. Last updated: 14 July 2011
